What are mail-order invisible aligners?
The ever-increasing need for reasonably priced braces has been partially met thanks to the internet. Companies that sell clear aligners through the mail eliminate the need for a middleman and deliver the products directly to the customer.
Your treatment will begin with either a dental impression or a digital scan to determine whether or not you are a suitable candidate for the procedure. You can get scanned at one of a few different locations locally.
If you don’t, we will give you a kit that contains everything you need to carry out the procedure on your own at home.
We will let you know whether or not you are eligible for treatment when we get impressions of both your upper and lower teeth from you.
You may also get a simulation of your treatment or a preview of how your new smile will look in order to ensure that you are satisfied with the results.
If you decide that you want to proceed with the treatment, your individualized aligners will be manufactured and mailed to you.
During the course of your treatment, you will wear a series of aligners, which will gradually reposition your teeth into the correct position.
When your orthodontic treatment is complete, you will be able to purchase a set of retainers that can be taken out in order to maintain the appearance of your new smile.
Types of Dental Aligners
Clear Aligners
Clear aligners, which are frequently referred to as “invisible aligners,” are used to correct improper bites and straighten the teeth.
They are a practical alternative to braces in that they are flexible, convenient, and almost undetectable. They can also be removed.
Each individual’s aligner trays are custom-made from BPA-free plastic and are constructed to precisely suit their mouths.
Each tray shifts the teeth in discrete, imperceptible increments as it rotates.
night time aligners
Clear nighttime aligners are mouthpieces made of BPA-free plastic that are worn while sleeping to gradually shift teeth into their proper positions.
During this phase, you will need to replace the tray that your aligners are in with a new one that brings your teeth one step closer to the final appearance you want them to have.
You are required to keep wearing your aligner throughout the day and night for a total of at least 8 to 10 hours.
